About Rupay Ads

Rupay Ads is a software-as-a-service platform for artists and music teams. It provides music and audience analytics, content planning and publishing, community management, campaign management, reporting, and AI-assisted workflows. Rupay Ads is operated by LBTech and is referred to in this Policy as “Rupay Ads,” “we,” “us,” or “our.”

This Policy applies to the Rupay Ads website, applications, and services. It does not replace the privacy policies of third-party platforms that you choose to connect.

Information We Collect

Account and Profile Information

We may collect your name, email address, account credentials in hashed form, organization or team membership, artist profile information, role, preferences, billing or subscription status, and information you provide when contacting support. We never store your Rupay Ads password in plain text.

Social Media and Third-Party Platform Data

When you choose to connect a third-party account, we receive information permitted by the authorization you grant and by the relevant platform. This may include account or channel identifiers, profile information, media metadata, audience and performance metrics, comments, messages, campaign information, and publishing capabilities. The exact information depends on the connected service, your account type, available APIs, and granted permissions.

Instagram / Meta Data

When you grant the corresponding permissions, Rupay Ads may access profile information, professional account details, media, comments, mentions, messages, message interactions, publishing permissions, Page information, and insights. We use this information solely to provide the features you request inside Rupay Ads, such as displaying authorized analytics, helping manage community interactions, or publishing approved content.

• Rupay Ads does not sell Instagram or Meta user data.
• Rupay Ads does not share Meta Platform Data with unauthorized third parties.
• You can disconnect your Instagram or Meta account at any time.
• You can request deletion of connected social data.
• Data obtained from Meta APIs is handled according to Meta Platform Terms and applicable Meta policies.
• Access tokens and credentials are treated as sensitive information, stored securely, and never exposed publicly.

Google / YouTube Data

If you authorize Google or YouTube, Rupay Ads may receive account and channel identity, channel statistics, video and playlist information, audience or geographic analytics, advertising data, and other information covered by the permissions you grant. We use Google and YouTube data only to provide connected analytics, reporting, content, account, and campaign features requested by you. You can revoke access through Rupay Ads or your Google account controls.

TikTok Data

If you authorize TikTok, Rupay Ads may receive account identity, public profile information, content metadata, authorized performance metrics, publishing capabilities, and advertising account information where separately authorized. TikTok social and TikTok advertising connections are treated as distinct integrations when applicable.

Analytics and Usage Data

We may collect information about how the service is used, including pages viewed, feature interactions, request timestamps, device and browser information, approximate location derived from IP address, diagnostic events, and security logs. We also process music, audience, campaign, playlist, chart, radio, and social metrics that are provided by authorized platforms or lawful data sources.

How We Use Information

We use information to provide and secure the service; authenticate users; maintain organization, tenant, and artist access controls; synchronize authorized platforms; display analytics; improve reliability; provide support; prevent misuse; comply with law; and communicate important service information.

Content Publishing and Management

We process drafts, captions, media, schedules, approvals, and platform selections to help you prepare and publish content that you explicitly approve or schedule. We use platform permissions only for the actions available to and requested by your authorized account.

Messages and Comments

Where supported and authorized, we may process messages, comments, mentions, postbacks, seen status, and reactions so that you can view or manage community interactions. Message content is treated as sensitive and is accessed only when needed to provide the requested feature, maintain security, or comply with legal obligations.

Analytics and Insights

We organize authorized and lawfully available data to show trends, comparisons, audience signals, content performance, and other insights. We distinguish unavailable information from real zero values and do not intentionally fabricate platform metrics.

Advertising and Campaign Management

When advertising accounts are separately connected, we may process campaign names, status, budget, spend, impressions, reach, clicks, views, conversions, and related performance information to provide campaign management and reporting.

AI Features

Rupay Ads may use AI to summarize authorized information, assist with content, identify patterns, and provide recommendations. We send only the information reasonably necessary for the requested feature to configured AI service providers. AI output may be incomplete or inaccurate and should be reviewed before use, publication, or business decisions.

Data Sharing

We do not sell personal information or Meta Platform Data. We may share information with authorized members of your organization, connected platforms at your direction, and service providers that help us operate Rupay Ads. We limit sharing to what is necessary for the relevant purpose and require appropriate confidentiality and security protections.

Service Providers

Service providers may support cloud hosting, databases, security, email, storage, analytics, customer support, payment processing, content rendering, and AI functionality. They may process information only on our instructions and for the services they provide to us, subject to contractual and legal obligations.

Legal Requirements

We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, regulation, legal process, or enforceable governmental requests; protect the rights, safety, and security of users or others; investigate fraud or abuse; or establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

Data Retention

We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain legitimate business and security records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, or comply with legal obligations. Retention varies by data type, account status, connected platform requirements, and applicable law.

Meta Platform Data and other connected-platform data are retained only as long as necessary for the authorized service or legal compliance. When an integration is disconnected, we stop new synchronization and delete or de-identify connected data according to applicable requirements and operational retention schedules, unless retention is legally required.

Data Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, including access controls, tenant isolation, encryption for sensitive credentials, password hashing, secure transport, logging controls, and restricted production access. Access tokens and refresh tokens are stored in backend systems and are not exposed publicly or placed in browser storage.

No internet service is completely secure. You are responsible for protecting your account credentials, using trusted devices, and notifying us if you suspect unauthorized access.

International Data Transfers

Rupay Ads and its service providers may process information in countries other than where you live. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers and process information in accordance with applicable data protection law.

User Rights and Choices

Depending on your location, you may have rights to know about, access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a portable copy of certain personal information. You may also have the right to withdraw consent or lodge a complaint with a data protection authority. These rights may be subject to legal limitations and identity verification.

Access, Correction and Deletion

You can update certain account and connection information inside Rupay Ads. You may disconnect third-party integrations at any time and can also revoke Rupay Ads access from the relevant platform's account settings. To request access, correction, or deletion, contact us at privacy@rupayads.com.

Third-Party Services

Connected services—including Meta and Instagram, Google and YouTube, TikTok, advertising platforms, analytics providers, and payment providers—operate under their own terms and privacy policies. Rupay Ads is not responsible for independent processing performed by those services outside our platform.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies that are necessary for authentication, session security, preferences, fraud prevention, and service operation. We may also use limited analytics technologies to understand and improve the service. Browser settings can control some cookies, but disabling required cookies may prevent sign-in or other functionality.

Children's Privacy

Rupay Ads is intended for professional use and is not directed to children under 13 or the minimum age required by applicable law. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children without appropriate authorization. Contact us if you believe a child has provided information improperly.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Policy to reflect changes to our services, legal requirements, or data practices. We will post the revised Policy here and update the Effective Date. Where required, we will provide additional notice or request consent.
